Berlinda, our senior consultant in the office, comes to Tou Safaris with a wealth of experience in the Namibian travel industry. Her love for people and traveling combine well to ensure that all our guests’ needs are attended to, and refines itineraries which are both unique and unforgettable experiences. She believes strongly in exploring new destinations, in which Tou Safaris supports her fully, giving her the cutting edge in new safari possibilities in southern Africa over our competitors. Berlinda assists Tristan in running a very efficient office and ground operation, ensuring that safaris are meticulously planned and organized.

Uri, a product of the Tou Funds, is Tou Safaris newest guide. Having come through the ranks of the Tou guide training system, Uri has become the perfect traveling companion. As a result of his knowledge and experience gained at some of Africa’s finest lodges, safari guide courses and under the guidance of Tristan, he has become one of Namibia’s most impressive young guides. Speaking perfect German, Uri and his brother Operi are regularly assigned to leading our Tou Safaris German-speaking safaris.

Operi, one of Namibia’s best-known young guiding personalities, specializes in leading some of our most demanding and testing safaris. Also a lecturer at the Namibian Academy for Tourism and Hospitality (NATH), he is clearly more than equipped to deal with international guests. Operi’s sensitivity to the needs and expectations of our guests has made him an extremely popular and requested guide. He also speaks perfect German.

Uanee was trained as a tracker for the well-known Save the Rhino Trust, which equipped him with the necessary knowledge and expertise to develop into an experienced national guide. Being a Himba, his particular interest is to explore his own and other cultures, making him the perfect guide in our culturally diverse sub-continent.

Stephan, a qualified scientist, has ended up as a guide as a result of his love for showing off ‘his’ country to international visitors. He has a wealth of knowledge and is regularly assigned to specialized safari groups. Stephan opens all his travel companions’ eyes to the natural history of this truly unique sub-continent. He is also an expert on Botswana.
